Erysimum `Bowles Mauve` – 2 litre pot
Otter Price: £9.99
Erysimum `Bowles Mauve` is a bushy evergreen perennial with scented mauve flowers which are borne on upright stems. Dark green narrow lanceolate leaves are visible all year round. With a height and spread of 60-75cm, this variety is ideal amongst a mixed border or as a centrepiece in a planted container arrangement. Preferably positioned in full sun to maximise the quantity of flowers produced.
Care Instructions:
– For best results, plant in the spring when the soil is no longer frozen.
– Keep the plants in a container if possible; use large and deep containers to prevent roots from freezing during winter. Ensure the containers have drainage holes in the bottom as planting in small containers can lead to root-bound plants.
– Adequate watering is essential after planting, and the soil should be kept moist, but well drained to ensure the plant establishes well.
– To maintain the plant’s appearance, remove faded flowers, spent stems and damaged or yellowing leaves.
– Use balanced organic fertilisers to feed older plants in February/March and repeat in July/August.
