About Otter Garden Centre, Wincanton
Our Wincanton garden centre became part of the Otter family in March, 2011. The team at our Wincanton garden centre pride themselves on the friendly environment along with the personal service offered to customers, and are pleased that so many customers return for repeat visits to browse the extensive range. The garden centre also benefits from a attractive and cosy coffee shop with outdoor seating overlooking the colourful plants area.

Charity of the Year
Our Charity of the Year for 2023 is YFW Blood Bikes.
This emergency volunteer service is run by Yeovil Freewheelers (EVS) and has supported NHS services including Yeovil District Hospital, Dorset County Hospital and the community hospitals across the region for 40 years. Last year over 1000 out-of-home deliveries were made carrying blood, platelets, blood and tissue samples, medication, breast milk, medical documents, X-rays, CT scans and equipment.
The demand for the service is growing, operating 24 hours a day, 35 days a year, saving the NHS well over £100,000 while easing patients’ suffering and helping to save lives.
Over the past 2 years (2021 & 2022) our Otter Wincanton team successfully raised £7,143 for YFW Blood Bikes and look forward to supporting the charity again this year.

Our coffee shop was refurbished in 2019 with an updated interior design, and new tables and chairs, we also have an outdoor seating area outside with lovely views of the plants area. We offer a range of lovely homemade lunches, snacks and cakes.
