About Otter Garden Centre Ottery St Mary
Otter Garden Centre in Ottery St Mary was the very first Otter garden centre and was established in 1964 as Otter Nurseries. Easily accessed from the A30, this is the largest of our garden centres and many customers like to enjoy a full day out here, shopping our extensive range of products in all our departments and our renowned plants department. We recommend stopping in our popular coffee shop where you can enjoy delicious home-made food. We support many local community activities including the Ottery St Mary Food Festival.
Disabled Parking
Disabled car parking is now located in our two main car parks, this is to keep our customers safe in the garden centre. In each of these car parks you will find dedicated disabled parking spaces.
To enter the garden centre without being required to cross the road we recommend disabled customers use our first car park located off Gosford Road (coming from Ottery St Mary, this is the first car park on the left as you enter Gosford Road).

On Sunday we offer a Sunday Roast, and we close at 4pm
Charity of the Year
Our Charity of the Year is local charity Hospiscare. Hospiscare is an independent charity which provides high quality care and support to people with a progressive life-limiting illness and those close to them living in Exeter, East and Mid Devon.
We supported Hospiscare as our Charity of the Year from 2019 for four years, and thanks to Steve Pearcey and his band of volunteers, were delighted to raise over £31,700 during this time.

Our large, popular coffee shop serves homemade food created using local produce where possible. We offer a large menu choice including daily specials, Sunday roasts and a great selection of cakes!

We are situated in rural Devon, very close to the A30. From the A30 take the Fenny Bridges exit, follow the signs for Ottery St Mary. Our garden centre will be found midway between Alfington & Ottery St Mary.
