Charity of the Year
Our chosen Charity of the Year for 2026 is the Chestnut Appeal for Men’s Health.
The Chestnut Appeal was founded at Derriford Hospital in Plymouth in 1999 and has spent more than 25 years supporting the fight against men’s cancers.
Funds raised help increase awareness of prostate, penile and testicular cancer, while providing vital support to those affected. The charity also funds specialist nurses and the latest equipment for hospitals across Devon and Cornwall.
Just as importantly, The Chestnut Appeal champions open conversations around men’s health—encouraging men to speak up, stay informed, and seek help as soon as something doesn’t feel right.
