Charity of the Year
Our chosen Charity of the Year for 2025 is The Salvation Army through their local ‘Devonport Lifehouse.’
The Salvation Army is a worldwide charity which has been fighting against social inequality and transforming lives for over 150 years. They provide practical support and services to those who need it most including those experiencing homelessness, the elderly, and the vulnerable.
Devonport Lifehouse is a 24 hour, 7 days a week supported residential centre, providing medium term accomodation for single adults who are experiencing homelessness. Support is provided to help residents get back on their feet and move on to more suitable, long term accommodation.
