This year, our amazing teams have created an instore Christmas experience like never before, with festive themes offering something for everyone to enjoy.
All our garden centres have new additions, and several have an incredible 12 different themes for customers to enjoy, from traditional decorations to novelties and well-loved characters.
The Gruffalo is featuring for the first time in all our branches. All the favourites are included, from Stick Man, Zog and the Gruffalo’s Child to Mouse, Owl, Fox and Snake. Children will love the addition of this range to their home this Christmas, with everything from decorations to puzzles, plushies and other toys.
A more traditional style of décor can be found in Frosted Lake. As the name suggests, everything sparkles with a crisp winter feel, from baubles and stars to elegant ballerinas, jolly snowmen and polar bears. This is ideal for anyone who loves to make their home look perfectly pretty, with pastels, glitter and sheen.
Woodland Tales draws on a palette of red, green and tan to create a warm, natural ambience. Owls, robins, hedgehogs, pine cones and acorns abound, with natural materials combined with realistic greenery to create wonderful wreaths and other decorations.
Always popular is Nutcracker, based on characters from the ballet of the same name. Smart wooden soldiers stand to attention in green, blue and red jackets. They also feature on baubles perfect for decorating the Christmas tree, alongside dancers and bells. This theme sits within a wider nostalgic collection called Believe in Christmas, which includes nativity sets, stars and Santa Claus in his traditional red outfit. Here you’ll also find The Christmas Jewel Box, sparkling with golds and greens.
Gingerbread men and candy canes galore can be found in the Santa’s Bakery theme, evoking the magic of Christmas treats being created. This includes a gorgeous selection of ornamental gingerbread houses to decorate mantelpieces and tables. There’s plenty of red, green and white tones, with characters to make you smile.
The Country Christmas selection is also full of fun. As you might expect, it features plenty of farmyard animals, including chickens, pigs and cows to add to your tree, along with colourful tractors. Create your own Christmas farmyard by starting a collection of amusing soft toys, such as a Christmas turkey sporting a Santa hat and an ‘elf’-styled Highland cow. The Winter Wonderland theme uses felt as the basis for a whole range of tree decorations, including cheeky penguins and geese wearing their best winter sweaters.
Cosy Time is another theme for those who love sparkle. Glittery pink, gold and white decorations include stars, baubles and delicate fairies. Dainty white trees illuminated with pink lights add the perfect glow to this floral fantasy.
There’s more besides, with a novelty selection showcasing more themes: festive dinosaurs; a host of joyful decorations, from tomato ketchup and a frying pan with eggs and bacon to Brussels sprouts and broccoli; plus, a niche range of iconic London sights.
This is a very special Christmas for us, as we’ve really pushed the boat out to make the festive experience extra special for customers. Our display teams have worked tirelessly to ensure that every customer, from the youngest to the oldest, has a magical experience when visiting Otter.
