Flowers for St Saviours

Locals and visitors to Ottery St Mary should spot a little extra colour in the town Otter Garden Centre planted up some containers for St Saviours bridge.

Group Bedding Plants Manager Richard Lovering and his team brought eight troughs to the bridge, filled with a cheerful mix of polyanthus plants in purple and yellow. They added some red tulips too, so there will be an additional pop of colour later on.

In early summer the team plan to return with 16 troughs, eight for each side of the bridge. These will be filled with bright summer bedding plants.

Otter Garden Centres Managing Director Jacqui Taylor said: “We hope everyone agrees that the troughs add a lovely little splash of cheerful colour at the entrance to the town while we wait for Summer to arrive.

“There are still a few grey days to come before we start to enjoy more sunshine, so we hope these flowers bring everyone some cheer.”
