We are looking for a Retail Sales Assistant to work in our Garden Furniture & BBQ department at Otter Garden Centre, Plymouth. This is a part-time role for 16 hours per week to work on Saturdays and Sundays.

 

Requirements

With exceptional customer service skills you will enjoy working under pressure in a retail environment.

You will learn about our wide range of garden furniture and BBQ’s and use your detailed knowledge of the products to drive sales whilst ensuring product layout is maintained to high standards.

The duties will include:

  • To work with customers selling garden furniture, BBQ’s and related products.
  • To work on own initiative but also be part of a bigger team.
  • Using the tills and the stock ordering system.
  • To maintain high standards in the specialised product areas

This role may involve some heavy lifting and manual handling.

About You

  • Previous customer service experience and ideally experience of dealing with high value product sales.
  • Excellent customer service approach.
  • You will be a self motivated, energetic and enthusiastic individual, passionate about delivering the best possible experience for our customers.

Hours

This is a part-time role, 14 hours per week on Saturdays on Sundays.
