We are recruiting for a Plants Customer Service Assistant to work at Otter Garden Centre, Wincanton. This is a full-time role working 5 days per week including Sunday, 39 hours per week.

In this role, you will be working in our Garden plants department.


Our Garden Centre Assistants make sure our customers enjoy their visit to our garden centres so great customer service is key for this position. Duties will include:
  • Helping customers with product enquiries in both Hardy and Bedding areas
  • Ensure high standards of quality are maintained at all times in the Plant area
  • Working deliveries as they arrive
  • Assisting with stock control and stock ordering
  • Helping customers with specific plant queries when asked
  • Reviewing and relaying seasonal layouts
  • Serving customers on the tills
  • Supporting the team leader
  • Please note this role may involve heavy lifting

This is a permanent full time role (39 hours), working 5 days a week to include one day at the weekend.

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 9am – 5.45pm

Sunday: 10am – 4.45pm
