We are recruiting for a Customer Service Assistant to work in our busy Clothing and Giftware departments at Otter Garden Centre, Wincanton.

This is a part-time role working 4 days a week.

Requirements

Duties will include:

  • Using the tills
  • Helping customers with product enquiries and taking orders
  • Using your detailed knowledge of the products in your department to increase sales
  • Ensuring product layout is maintained to high standards
  • Stock management, which will include managing all stock orders and deliveries
  • Merchandising stock in line with company guidelines

Please note this role will involve heavy lifting.

About You:

  • Have excellent customer service & communication skills
  • Be computer literate including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Have warehouse experience including picking and packing of stock
  • Be a strong team player
  • Able to work on your own using your initiative

Hours

This is a permanent role to work 4 days per week.

Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 9am – 5.45pm & Sunday 10am – 4.45pm.
