Customer Assistants Plants – Ottery St Mary
We are recruiting for seasonal Customer Assistant positions in our plants department at our busy garden centre based in Ottery St Mary. The roles are part-time to start in early March through to June.
We have a number of part-time roles that we are recruiting for, these will be based in our Summer Bedding or Hardy Plants department. Responsibilities will include stocking the plants area, plant care, and helping customers with purchasing of plants and related products.
The ideal candidate will:
- Enjoy working as part of a team
- Have a positive ‘can-do’ approach
- Have good horticultural knowledge, or a keen interest in plants and gardening, and be comfortable advising customers with plants or horticultural enquiries
- Be happy working outside in all conditions
This role may involve heavy lifting.
Experience of working in a retail environment is preferred.

We are recruiting for various shift patterns, all roles will include weekend working.
These are seasonal, temporary roles.
