Relax and enjoy great tasting food

Plymouth customers have plenty of space to sit and have a wonderful homemade meal or snack.

The restaurant at Otter Nurseries Plymouth seats around 100 people comfortably and includes a brand new Orangery created in summer 2016. Many customers join us regularly for a full meal or a smaller snack or treat – whatever you choose, you’ll enjoy fresh, home made food using ingredients from local Devon suppliers.

What’s on offer

Breakfast is served up to 10.30am Monday to Friday and 11am on Sundays. The delicious options include our popular Otter Big Breakfast. For those with a smaller appetite, we offer a smaller version, plus a variety of dishes such as mushrooms on toast, scrambled eggs and bacon sandwiches.

From 10.30am to 3pm we serve light bites including jacket potatoes, freshly made sandwiches, paninis and wraps.

Main meals are served from 11.30am to 2.30pm daily, with a wide choice including vegetarian. We also serve a tasty soup of the day prepared each morning in our kitchens.

Besides savoury meals and snacks, we also make a wonderful selection of cakes, from chocolate and coffee to carrot and lemon, as well as fruit scones and brownies. Devon cream teas are served all year round, with locally produced clotted cream and homemade jam.

On Sundays from 11.45am to 2.30pm you can enjoy a traditional Devon roast lunch, with our joint of the day and all the trimmings.

Although we make sure we have food available for customers with dietary requirements such as gluten free, we do recommend giving us a call before you visit, if there is something specific your diet requires you to avoid.
